KiKaKo is a hobby band. I've played the guitar and keyboards for 30 years recreationally and as a computer professional discovered how easy, cheap and fun it is to record music with today's technology. I have an ecclectic musical taste and will be posting a variety of songs.

Your musical influences
The classic rock bands of the 70's and 80's (Zeppelin, Rush, The Who etc.) I like a cleaner, more melodic guitar sound for the most part.What equipment do you use?
A $99 Yamaha Synth from Costco clearance, Ibanez 1982 Roadstar strat style sunburst top guitar, Rockwood Pro bass and Takamine Acoustic guitar, MXL 990/991, Audio Buddy pre-amp and a Quattro USB sound card plugged into a PC w/2.4 ghz processor and 256K ram Pentium... oh yeah and a Peavey Bandit 65 guitar amp and a few vintage guitar effects pedels for distortion, chorus and digital delay, a Hohner G and C Major harmonica (circa 1950). Cakewalk Guitar Studio 1 software with Revalver plugin... One day I'll get some better software, hopefully.davemania's station
